4.Salute to Pearl Harbor Including USS Arizona

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 7,433 reviews · 5 hours (approx.) · from $59

Ride from Waikiki to Pearl Harbor with a professional guide such as Nani Popolo, Big Jon, or Momi. You’ll see the visitor center, wartime exhibits, attack footage, and, when boat service and tickets allow, the USS Arizona Memorial. Most of the Pearl Harbor visit is self-guided.

“We booked this vs the self guided tour because they advertised tour of the USS Arizona and that didn’t happen. Pulling into Pearl the tour guide informed us1st thing we had to do was sign up for the Arizona tour. Are you kidding me? So basically we got in the gate, saw a few free exhibits and waited in 85 degree temps for a few hours til we left. Would never recommend, do the self tour, it will get you into exhibits that they wanted me to pay for.”

5.Majestic Circle Island Tour with Lunch

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 7,014 reviews · 9 hours (approx.) · from $181

Spend about nine hours touring Oahu in an air-conditioned mini-bus with guides such as Keoki, Big Jon, Prince, or Humu. Visit the Pali Lookout, Byodo-In Temple, Waimea Falls, Dole Plantation, and North Shore, with lunch included and hotel pickup from selected Waikiki hotels.

“The island tour of Oahu was interesting and gave us a nice overview. However, some of the stops felt too short to truly enjoy the places we visited. Adding just 10–15 minutes at each stop — extending the tour by about an hour or so — would have made the experience much more satisfying without adding much cost or inconvenience.”

6.Oahu’s Ultimate Tour: Dole, Turtle Snorkel, Pali Lookout & More

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 5,461 reviews · 10 to 12 hours (approx.) · from $108

This 10 to 12-hour circle-island tour links Diamond Head, Halona Blowhole, Nuʻuanu Pali, North Shore beaches, turtle snorkeling, Dole Plantation, and local farm stops. Guides such as Dirk, Cap, Kap, and Rob lead the day. Pickup, drinks, snacks, and snorkel gear are included.

“The tour was good, the tour guide, Kap was awesome! I wish the tour wasn’t focused and stated that there would be swimming with sea turtles. The beach was not a great place to “snorkel” as there were sea urchins everywhere and not one sea turtle in sight. Six people stepped on a sea urchin (there was a land mind of them). I would suggest that either a different beach is picked or taking that part out of the tour and adding something else in. Overall, the stops were good, there was lots to do but it was disappointing to be excited for the snorkeling and have it not happen.”

Guides such as Nevin, Raul, Justin, and Mike are known for lively local stories.

“This is a great overall trip to see the highlights of Oahu. Our guide Neven was great! Made the trip fun and memorable! Loved the the tour was small (9 people) The sites and stops were great! The only downfall is that we spent all day in a very small vehicle. We were the last to be picked up so the only seats were way in back and difficult to get to. It was so cramped that one couple left for that concern which did make it more comfortable. Would have been tough if all 11 stayed.”

See the visitor center and Arizona exhibits, take the memorial shuttle when operating, tour the USS Missouri, visit the Oklahoma Memorial, and finish with historic Honolulu. Guides such as Oli, Kimo, Nani, and Kemo add local stories along the way.

“This was a great tour and the guide was excellent at both sharing stories on the way to and from Pearl Harbor, but also preparing us to get the most out of our time at the USS Arizona and USS Missouri. Our time was adjusted due to availability of the boat shuttle to the Arizona memorial, but that is common. Communication on the change was excellent: a text, call and email. I would recommend this tour to anyone. We appreciated the pickup in Waikiki near our hotel!”

“Our driver/guide was entertaining, informative, and an excellent driver. Pearl Harbor is a sobering reminder of the terrible cost in lives of war. The only short coming of this tour was Viator guaranteed us a “private” tour with just us and our friends. Instead, we were greeted by a bus with 55 other people. When we contacted Viator and their subsequent call to the tour operator, the only response was “sorry”. No credit or accommodation from Viator because they said they only make the web site and reservation. Buyer beware. Viator is the company that dealt with the tour operator and, in my opinion, they are responsible for correcting any…”
